This year’s Cosmopolis Prize jury was chaired by :

The evening was an opportunity for the OVNi jury to award a prize to one of the nine artists involved in the Cosmopolis project, for their video proposal presented at the West End Hotel. The OVNi Cosmopolis Prize, supported by the Centre de Haute Energie de Nice, entitles the winner to €5,000 in creative support. The Prize extends OVNi’s reach, by honoring international artists represented by cultural institutions in their respective countries.

Sud Emergence Prize at the Grimaldi hotel

The Prix OVNi Sud Emergence is awarded each year to an emerging artist from the South of France, this year extended to Occitania.
This year’s jury was chaired by Christine Van Assche, art historian, curator and initiator of the Centre Pompidou’s New Media Collection, Alexia Abed, critic, researcher and member of AICA, with Jean-Marc Prevost, director of the Carré d’Art de Nîmes, Marie-Ann Yemsi, director of the Villa Arson art center, Marie Cozette, director of the CRAC Occitanie, Sally Bonn, author, art critic and Stephanie Ayraud, director of the MAC Marseille.
For this year’s edition, 10 talents were selected following the call for projects launched in the spring, to present their works at the Hôtel Grimaldi for a chance to win a €2,000 creative grant and a one-month writing residency at the Hôtel WindsoR (The Prize is supported by the Cercle des Amis d’OVNi).
