Produced as part of Canal+’s Gay Night, the film presents a jubilant survey of lesbian culture in the 20th century.

Through the playful appropriation of images from both underground and mainstream culture, and a mixture of quotations and interviews with personalities from the lesbian world, Nathalie Magnan creates an unclassifiable and playful visual object, somewhere between documentary and auteur film.
The question of lesbian culture raised in the film remains relevant thirty years on.

French theorist, cyberfeminist and filmmaker, Nathalie Magnan has taught at several universities and art schools in the USA and France.
