ENERGIES!

Le Hublot presents Artifice 2023 #06 in conjunction with OVNI. After « Végétalisons » and « Animal », the digital arts festival at 109 in Nice turns to energetic processes … such as combustive, photonic, electrical, calorific and living energies.

What installations and performances can reflect physical notions such as work, power and mass, but also living and spiritual energies? Energies of bodies in motion with Nicolas Clauss, One Step Ahead by Cédric Teisseire, energies of the collective with Scenocosme, but also the flow of the wave with Étienne Rey, the heat of the sun with Œil-Océan by Anne-Sarah Le Meur and artificial intelligence with Conversation au Soleil by Florian Schönersted and Attraction by Florent Colautti.

In response to the challenge of reducing our energy consumption, we will be displaying the results of our digital art installations, with the aim of offering an energy-positive exhibition! In the future, we’ll have to pedal to get light without consuming too much meat to compensate for the effort? It’s to help you with this puzzle of unit conversions between watt, joule and calories that Le Hublot is proposing this anticipatory energy festival. Workshops and conferences will enable us to discuss our carbon footprint and the management of our spiritual energies, so that we can better enter into E=MC2!

The week before, a workshop with guest artists from the Fées d’Hiver collective will enable us to dismantle a coil and a solar panel to produce electrons, dissect a ray of light, convert effort into energy, store our substantial body and mind food in a redox potential, equip our performance space with electricity consumption sensors and home automation gizmos to keep you informed in real time about « Who will be consuming whom? in the future!
