The film is made up of four 20-minute sequences. A drop of macro water glides for a long time over a surface whose edges, slope and nature are indistinguishable. The viewpoint is at the drop’s blind spot. The drop’s infinite glide is achieved using a tool that makes it tread water. It’s the surface that rises in the opposite direction to its descent. The filming (chase) is akin to wild animal documentary techniques. The film was shot on the roof of the Décines-Charpieu water tower. The soundtrack is the direct, unedited environment of the shoot (wind, church bells, barking dog…).
