The artist Caroline Rivalan is part of OVNi’s friends.

Caroline Rivalan explores feminine myths and the hedonistic aspect of nature by appropriating images that she retranscribes plastically through montage operations. The images she produces in microcosms (dioramas) or macrocosms (light installation devices) blend various registers with irreverence and sarcasm. The result is a phantasmagorical universe where the feminine holds a particular place. In Chambre N°5, the image becomes space, tipping over into strangeness. Caroline Rivalan’s dionysiac universe overflows. L’artiste crée avec cette installation une rencontre entre image fixe et image en mouvement. The muses – burlesque dancers from another time – push the viewer to the center of this immersive diorama.
